Using PowerPoint to Make Presentations Shine

Thursday February 16, 2017

Location: Findorff

300 S. Bedford St.

Madison, WI 53703

Speaker: Chad Neumann

Session Description:

Most training professionals are familiar with PowerPoint and of course the “Love/Hate” relationship that we all have the the most popular presentation software in the world. In my time as a presenter I have seen the good, the bad and the ugly of slide design. In this session we will start with the basic elements of PowerPoint  used to make your presentation professional, and then dig into  the deeper tricks to make your presentation really shine. This interactive session will cover design concepts,  alignment tools, triggering events and creating nonlinear PowerPoint sessions. Don’t miss an opportunity to learn new tricks and maybe share a tool or trick that really works for you.

Objectives:

Understand basic design concepts and how to use graphic design to increase the effectiveness of your presentation.  Identify simple tools within PowerPoint that will save time and make your presentation look professional.  Identify more complex tools within PowerPoint that allow you to use PowerPoint for a game show.
